So for those of you who don’t know, my real life job is working in a costume shop for a UC theater and dance department. During the summer we made a lot of little improvements to our space- mostly things that involve STORAGE x1392905609. So her are some of the nice little touches we made, that might inspire you in your organizational adventures.

1.Peg board for tools with painted shadow. A great reminder for people who don’t necessarily use the space daily, like students.

2. A wall with muslin covered ridges which we pin all our necklaces onto. Nothing gets tangled, and everything is visible.

3.Shoe boxes in large drawers, to separate out small items that would otherwise turn into a free for all.

4. Cotton fabric pockets that slip over a hanger- they are equipped with four rows of grosgrain, tacked every two inches. It’s a great solution for the storage of neckwear.
